Privacy Policy
Effective September 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SupaFreight (“SupaFreight”, “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our quoting service (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
We collect:
- Account information — your name, email address, company name, and password (stored as a one-way hash — we never see or store it in plain text).
- Billing information — handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card or bank account number; we retain only what Stripe returns to us, such as a customer/subscription reference and billing status.
- Usage data — the load, route, and quote information you enter into the Service, and basic technical data (IP address, browser type, timestamps) generated by using the Service.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Process payments and manage your subscription;
- Send account, billing, and service-related communications;
- Provide customer support; and
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Service, under obligations consistent with this policy:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
- Resend — transactional and account-related email delivery.
- HubSpot — our own customer relationship management, so our sales team can follow up with prospects and customers.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SupaFreight, our customers, or others.
4. Data retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 6 below.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and row-level data isolation between customer companies. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights and choices
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your account information by contacting us at the phone number below. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain it by law.
7. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before the change takes effect.
